Multi-Stage Sludge and Sediment Sampler Easily collect sediment or sludge with a technically enhanced core tip and cap. The AMS "valved core tip" fills the sampler without losing the sample upon retrieval. The sampler uses a disposable plastic soil catcher that fits on the end of a 2" x 12" plastic liner.

The AMS SBS System is ideal for discrete interval sediment sampling in rivers, lakes, wetlands, and estuaries because it stops caving sediment. An additional 12" (male/female threaded) body section may be added to create a 24” long sampler. Includes: Multi-stage flap check cap, multi-stage sludge core tip, 12" long multi-stage SCS base, 3" x 12" plastic liner, plastic end caps, 3" soil core catcher, universal slip wrench.
